Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data we process when you contact us, why we do it and what your rights are. We only collect what we really need.

2. What data we process and why

The contact form automatically sends you a confirmation that we received your message. We do not use your data for marketing or newsletters and we never sell it.
3. Who we share data with
We only share data with processors that help us run the website and e-mail, and only to the extent necessary:
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) – website hosting and form processing,
- Resend, Inc. (USA) – sending e-mails from the form,
- the provider of our mailbox partner@hurk.sk.
Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use cookies, third-party analytics or advertising tools, and it does not track you. Fonts and all other files are hosted on our own website, so your browser does not contact any other servers because of them. That is why there is no cookie banner.
If we ever start using analytics or non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Links to our other projects (Kids Stories Audio, Audio Nightbook) lead to separate websites with their own privacy policies.
5. Your rights
- the right of access and to a copy of your data,
- the right to rectification,
- the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
To exercise your rights, simply e-mail partner@hurk.sk. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
6. Security
The website runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the form is protected against spam and abuse, and messages are only accessible to the people on our team who answer them.
7. Changes
We may update this information, for example when we add a new feature to the website. The current version is always published on this page.
